Skills not gained when quest was completed
I finished the Flash Gargoyles quest given by Warmaster Grast in Old Ascalon and I was supposed to get 4 skills, including sprint, final thrust, wild blow and one other. I completed the quest and it said my bar was full. So I removed one skill and replaced it with Wild Blow. Then the window closed and I never got the other skills.
Now, Grast will not talk to me, so am I screwed or what? |

the others should be there, if you hit K and look at your skill list.

I looked in my skill list and they are not there. I never got the "unlocked" message either.

If you are a warrior primary, and that was your first quest in Old Ascalon with Warmaster Grast, it's likely you didn't actually look at what those skills he gave you as a reward were, because they were most likely duplicates of skills you already have. All of the first quests for the skill trainers in Old Ascalon are like this - almost all duplicates except for one skill. You didn't miss out on anything.

Instead of replacing a skill like OP, i canceled as I use swords instead of hammers, none of the other skills were given. I didn't have sprint, sprint didn't appear in the skill list. I zoned, logged in/out, tried sorting the list differently to make it appear; simpily put, I don't have sprint after finishing the quest, and the quest reward is broken. Is this the only place where you can get sprint? Because that would really suck.

There's a broken monk quest in pre searing too, doesn't give any spells anymore and it should give two. Anyway, you can pick the skills up from a skill trainer, probably the one at Yak's Bend. Will cost you a skill point each tho.

Munne
I have exactly the same trouble, I'm a necro, and necromancer Munne offered me a quest with 4 skills, I only got the first one. The other 3 are not in my list and nowhere to be seen.
GW support team should repair this and make the skills appear in the list for those who completed the quest as otherwise it would be very unfair... On a sidenote, my secondary class is Monk, and I didn't got retribution nor symbol of wrath, so I can say I'm starting to get tired of not getting my skills as everyone else... Right now I'm missing 5 skills... |

Munne/Necro skills
I just did this same quest with the 4 skills promised by Munne. The Holy relic thing. I only got Insidious Parasite and the other 3 are nowhere to be seen. I've checked the log and my skills list (K).
The log only said I had unlocked and learned Insidious Parasite. The other 3 do not appear in my skills list either. I can only buy monk skills from the skill trainer in Ascalon as well. I'm Necro/Monk and don't care so much about monk skills but I do want new necro skills. |

simalar thing has happend to me on a couple of my chars.. i didnt' notice it till the other night..
basically, when i would finish the quest, instead of replaceing a skill.. I would just cansel the window.. and then the other skills wouldnt' shwo up.. I didn't really pay attention, i was just doing the quets... this shouldnt' happen.. the skills should be unlocked, and added to your char, even if you cansel the window... =( |

When we "cancel" after unlocking the skill it should go to our hero skill listing. once in a town we can change them as whish.
So far I didn't have any problem with skill rewards, at least, that I noticed... Cheers. --Qin |

I have also noticed this when I have completed some quest I have not recieved all of the skills that they offered. Also when I did recieve some skills I clicked canceal cause at that time I did not want them in my bar thinking that they would go directly into my skill list. Now from reading this post it makes me wonder if I did recieve any of those skills.

Those skills are DUPLICATES. They are only there in case you somehow missed them when you got your second class in pre-searing.

I am a W/el and I have never had a problem attaining the proper skills after I have finished a quest. If they are duplicates then obviously they wont even appear as an option for you to trade with the current skills that you are using on the mission. Not to say that any of you or wrong because their could be bugs in different professions quests.
As for the not attaining the sprint skill thing, I am 90% sure that I did not have the option to attain that skill through a quest until post-searing (Yes, I did all the Warmaster Grast quests). Hope that helps. Shmash! |
